Welcome to Astroverse - a place built for real people looking for real connections.

Astroverse exists to help you find meaningful, lasting relationships through the power of Vedic astrology and intentional design. Our community works because people show up as themselves, treat each other with respect, and take the search for connection seriously.

These Community Guidelines set the expectations for everyone on Astroverse - both inside the app and in any interactions with people you meet through it. Please read them carefully. Violating these guidelines can result in consequences ranging from a warning to a permanent ban, depending on the severity.

If you are honest, kind, and respectful, you will always be welcome here.

1. Be Yourself

Authenticity is the foundation of every good connection. We expect every member to present themselves honestly.

  • Use real, recent photos of yourself. All profile photos must clearly show you. No stock photos, celebrity images, heavily filtered or morphed images, or photos of other people presented as you.
  • Do not use AI-generated images as profile photos. We use automated systems to detect synthetic and AI-generated photos and will remove them.
  • Be truthful in your profile. Your name, age, profession, education, and other details should be accurate. Misrepresenting yourself undermines the trust that makes this community work.
  • Provide accurate birth details. Astroverse uses your date, time, and place of birth to generate your Kundli and calculate compatibility with other members. Entering incorrect birth details will result in inaccurate compatibility scores - for you and for the people you are matched with.
  • One person, one account. You may only have one active Astroverse account at any time. Creating duplicate or backup accounts is not allowed and may result in the termination of all associated accounts.
  • Verify if you can. Completing face liveness verification is optional, but it strengthens your profile and builds trust with potential matches. A verified badge signals to others that you are a real person.

2. Treat Others With Respect

Every person on Astroverse is here for the same reason - to find a meaningful connection. Treat them the way you would want to be treated.

  • Communicate respectfully. Disagreement is fine; insults, name-calling, and degrading language are not. Even if a conversation does not go well or a match does not work out, remain civil.
  • Respect boundaries. If someone is not interested, accept it gracefully. Continued messaging after someone has expressed disinterest, stopped responding, or unmatched you is not acceptable.
  • No harassment of any kind. This includes repeated unwanted contact, threats, intimidation, bullying, shaming, or any behaviour intended to make another person feel unsafe or uncomfortable - whether on Astroverse or on any other platform.
  • No hate speech or discrimination. Astroverse has zero tolerance for content or behaviour that attacks, demeans, or discriminates against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or any other characteristic.
  • Keep conversations private. Conversations on Astroverse are between you and your match. Do not screenshot, share, or publicly post private conversations without the other person's explicit consent.
  • Lead with kindness. Behind every profile is a real person with real feelings. A kind word costs nothing. A cruel one can cost a lot.

3. Keep It Clean

Astroverse is designed for meaningful connections, not casual encounters. Our content standards reflect this.

  • No nudity or sexually explicit content. This includes photos, messages, and profile content. Underwear photos, implied nudity, and overly suggestive poses are also not permitted on your public profile.
  • No violent or graphic content. Do not upload or share images or descriptions depicting violence, blood, gore, weapons used to harm, or anything glorifying violence - against people or animals.
  • No illegal content. Do not use Astroverse to promote, solicit, or engage in any illegal activity. This includes but is not limited to drug solicitation, trafficking, and any form of exploitation.
  • No harmful or dangerous content. Do not share content that promotes self-harm, eating disorders, dangerous challenges, or any activity that could put you or others at risk.
  • Appropriate messaging. Keep your messages respectful and appropriate, especially in early conversations. Unsolicited sexual or explicit messages are a violation of these guidelines regardless of context.

4. No Scams, Spam, or Commercial Activity

Astroverse is for personal connections only. It is not a marketplace.

  • No financial solicitation. Never ask other members for money, gifts, cryptocurrency, loans, donations, or financial assistance - regardless of the story or reason. If someone asks you for money, report them immediately.
  • No commercial promotion. Do not use your profile, bio, prompts, or messages to advertise products, services, businesses, social media accounts, websites, or any commercial venture.
  • No social media farming. Do not use Astroverse to gain followers on Instagram, YouTube, or any other platform. Sharing social handles in your profile or bio for the purpose of follower acquisition is not allowed.
  • No spam. Do not send bulk, repetitive, or unsolicited messages. Do not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app or other users.
  • No phishing or fraud. Do not attempt to obtain personal information, login credentials, financial details, or any other sensitive data from other members through deceptive means.
  • No recruitment or campaigning. Do not use Astroverse for political campaigning, religious proselytizing, MLM recruitment, or any form of organised solicitation.

5. Protect Your Safety and Others'

Your safety matters to us, and so does the safety of every member in the community.

  • Do not share personal contact information publicly. Phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, workplace addresses, and financial information should never appear in your public profile, bio, or prompts. Share personal details privately and only when you feel comfortable.
  • Report suspicious behaviour. If someone makes you feel unsafe, asks for money, behaves inappropriately, or appears to be a fake profile, report them using the in-app report feature. You can also reach us at support@astroverseapp.com.
  • Be cautious meeting in person. When meeting someone from Astroverse for the first time, choose a public place, tell someone you trust about your plans, and arrange your own transportation.
  • Respect the safety of minors. Astroverse is strictly for users aged 18 and above. If you encounter a profile that appears to belong to a minor, report it immediately.
  • Do not threaten or endanger others. Any content or behaviour that threatens physical harm, property damage, or public safety - whether directed at another member or any other person - will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

6. Respect the Integrity of the Platform

Astroverse works best when everyone plays by the same rules.

  • Do not manipulate the system. Do not use third-party apps, scripts, automation tools, or exploits to gain unfair advantages, unlock features, bypass limits, or interfere with the app's normal operation.
  • Do not file false reports. The reporting system exists to keep everyone safe. Submitting false, misleading, or malicious reports against other members undermines this system and is itself a violation.
  • Do not circumvent enforcement actions. If your account has been warned, suspended, or banned, do not create new accounts to circumvent the action. We track devices and identifiers to enforce this.
  • Respect intellectual property. Do not upload content that you do not own or have the right to use. This includes copyrighted photos, music, artwork, and other protected materials.

7. Behaviour Off the Platform

How you treat people you meet through Astroverse matters - even outside the app.

  • Off-platform conduct counts. If we are made aware that you have harassed, threatened, harmed, or behaved abusively toward someone you met through Astroverse - whether via text messages, other messaging apps, social media, phone calls, or in person - we may take action on your Astroverse account as if the behaviour occurred within the app.
  • Date respectfully. Consent matters at every stage of any interaction. Any behaviour that constitutes harassment, stalking, assault, or any form of abuse will be taken seriously and may result in an immediate ban and, where appropriate, cooperation with law enforcement.

8. How We Enforce These Guidelines

We use a combination of technology and people to keep Astroverse safe:

  • Automated moderation. We use AI-powered systems (including image analysis and text detection) to proactively identify and remove content that violates these guidelines - including inappropriate photos, fake profiles, spam, and AI-generated images.
  • Human review. Our trust and safety team reviews reports submitted by members and investigates potential violations. Reports are taken seriously and handled confidentially.
  • User reporting. You are our first line of defence. If you see something that does not belong on Astroverse, report it. You can report any profile by tapping the three-dot menu on their profile card. You can also report messages within a chat conversation.

Consequences for violations

The action we take depends on the nature and severity of the violation:

We reserve the right to take action on any account at our sole discretion, without prior warning, when we believe it is necessary to protect the safety of our community.

9. Appealing a Decision

If you believe an action taken on your account - whether a warning, content removal, suspension, or ban - was made in error, you may appeal:

  • Email us at support@astroverseapp.com with "Account Appeal" in the subject line.
  • Include your registered phone number or email address and a clear description of why you believe the decision was incorrect.
  • Appeals are reviewed by a team member who was not involved in the original decision.
  • We will respond within 15 business days.

Please note that filing an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement. We take the safety of our community seriously and will uphold decisions where we believe they are warranted.

10. Our Commitment to You

Astroverse is built on the belief that everyone deserves a meaningful connection. We are committed to:

  • Maintaining a safe platform through continued investment in moderation, verification, and safety features.

  • Being transparent about how we enforce our rules, handle your data, and build our features.
  • Evolving these guidelines as our community grows. We will update these Community Guidelines as needed and notify you of material changes.

A Note on Astrology

Astroverse uses Vedic astrology (Kundli and Ashtakoot compatibility) as one dimension of matchmaking. Astrological compatibility scores are meant to add depth and meaning to the discovery process - they are not a guarantee of compatibility, and they are not a reason to judge, dismiss, or disrespect another person.

Every person on this platform is more than their Guna score. We encourage you to approach profiles with curiosity and openness, not just a number.
